My envy 3 powers down every time i go to vzw tones deluxe im am now on my replacement phone whitch is doing the same exact thing i go to vzw tunes and the phone turns off then turns its self back on.

I'm confused do you mean it is to bright in tone a different resistor will change that or do you mean its tuned to high using the tuners to bring it down with an electronic tuner will help

hello kylie... begin by unplugging the phone from the charger if indeed it is plugged in. Then remove the battery and leave it without the battery for 2 full minutes. This action will cause it to reset itself. After you put the battery back in check it out for the misising functions. If there are still problems, take your phone to the phone store for their factory reset. Joe

hi ablanton1855 take the battery out of the phone. put the battery back into the phone. Next you need to go the app on the phone and delete the subcribtion under options. You can cancel the app on the phone. Next you can redown load the app on to the phone. The vzw tones should work again on your phone.

Although today's electrinics are nicer to look at than things were 5 years ago, they're also more fragile. You must treat things like egg shells if you want them to last. I've had the same cell phone for 4 years, mi wife has been through 7.

have you changed the fuel filter lately a plugged fuel filter will cause this concern
did the power loss start all of a sudden or did you start losing power over time ?

try saving the tone to your phone rather than your sim card?

ok, not quite sure what exactly "wont work" is referring to, so i am just gonna throw out a bunch of resolutions
1...you may need to format ur memory card for ur phone. the steps for doing that depend for the phone. u can look at the manual, go online "support" on vzw website, or repost with ur phone model and i can tell you
2...if you have done that, make sure ur files names are LESS than 32 characters and do not have any special characters (ie, _-%$#)
3...still doesnt work?? replace it. vzw has a 1 year warranty on accessories

do a hard reset on your device: while your phone is powered on, remove the battery. keep out of device for about 3 seconds, then replace and power on. if the issue persists, you may need a s/w flash which can be done at any vzw direct location at no charge

did the tones come pre installed on the phone? why dont you try using mp3 ring tones? download mp3 songs on your phone, then you can set them as ring tones. they work much beter than ordinary ring tones
