Take the battery out then plug in the phone. The light should turn red, then reinsert the battery with it still plugged in. It should turn orange and start charging.

The blinking yellow-green and solid red light on a coffee machine typically indicate an error or problem with the machine. Without more specific information about the make and model of your coffee machine, it is difficult to say for sure what the problem is. However, here are some common issues that can cause a coffee machine to display these lights:
Blinking yellow-green light: This light may indicate that the machine is in a warm-up or preheat mode.
Solid red light: A solid red light can indicate several different problems, depending on the machine's model and brand. Some common causes of a solid red light include a low water level, a clogged or dirty brew head, or an issue with the machine's heating system.
It is recommended to check the user manual for your coffee machine to determine what the specific light sequence means and how to address the issue. If you don't have the manual, you may be able to find a copy online by searching for the make and model of your machine. If you are unable to resolve the problem, you may need to have the machine serviced by a professional.
The majority of laptops will display a solid green, blue or
purple battery light to indicate that the battery is fully charged. Most
manufacturers indicate that a laptop is in the process of charging by
displaying a solid or blinking green, orange, blue or purple light. If
your battery indicator light is green, blue or purple, the battery is
probably functional, regardless of whether the light is blinking. If the
light is solid orange, the laptop is probably in the process of
charging.
Battery Error Coneventions
Many battery manufacturers use rapidly blinking lights to
indicate that a battery's charge level is low. In general, a laptop will
rapidly blink orange or red when its charge drops below a certain level
until the computer is plugged into a power outlet and charged. If your
laptop's battery indicator continues to blink rapidly in orange or red
or if it remains red even when it is plugged into the charger, it
indicates a problem with your battery or the charger.

You have major problems I'm afraid. You need to contact Sony about fixing it/replacing it. Just pray it's under warranty. You could equate this problem with the 360's Red Ring of Death.
Take the modem and plug it into a GFCI outlet. You can find one in the bathroom or the kitchen.
If the power light comes on solid green and the dsl comes on red then the modem is good. Was it plugged into a power strip by the computer? If so, plug it straight into a wall outlet.
If the power light comes on solid red then the modem has hardware failure. I would contact your ISP and have them replace it if it is still underwarranty.
yeah, should stay red when unit is turned off, indicating there's power but it's doing nothing.
Per user manual:
Solid red - power off (standby mode)
blinking red - power off (now cooling)
blinking green - power on (preparing to light lamp)
solid green - power on
3 Solid Red lights usually means that a cable is unplugged. Check all cables (unplug and plug back in)...you may need to replace power cable if issue is still ocurring. If it is 3 Flashing red lights, this is known as the Red Rings of Death, i.e. your XBOX is dead and needs to be completely replaced.
OK ... after a lot of trial and error, I got mine to work. I think it may be a really low charge or something. I had to press the power button until it was completely dark ... no flashing faint green or any colors. Then when I plugged it in, I got a solid red and left it for awhile. Then when I pressed the power button I got yellow, red and green ... the computer recognized it and then got a solid yellow.
Before when I had it plugged in, I'd get a lot of red random flashing ... and it just didn't seem to charge at all ... even after a full day.
I think the issue was that it was in this "flashing state (red when connected, very faint green when disconnected)" It wasn't easy to get it to turn off completely. Most of the presses of the power button didn't change the state at all. But if I got it just right, I could see the faint green light go off. That's when I plugged it in and got a solid red light, and eventually a good charge.
sounds like a dead battery. Plug the origional charger into it and the front led (below the flash) should flash red. If the red led in the back of the camera flashes or stays lit, then you have the wrong charger plugged in. (the camera won't power up if the back red/green led is on when plugged in)
