If it makes a weird eject sound then the gears inside are out of place or alignment, this is a hardware problem NOT a software problem if u look how to fix this on youtube they videos will show you how to fix a software problem and you will lose all your data. to fix this you can order the parts or open it up and fix it yourself or call sony and have them fix it at a price of around $99.

You need to contact the manufacturer. (Call the 1-800 or W/e line)
They will ask you for the model number on your PS3. and provide instructions on how to locate it.
then they will tell you weather or not your under warranty still. DONT WORRY
from the sounds of this, this is a manufacturing problem. Instead of doing a recall like a respectable company, they sit around and when one of them calls in with problems THEY FIX IT FOR FREE.
they do this because most people figure once the warranty is void that there is nothing you can do.
You will recieve a "Refurbished" system in return for yours. IE someone else complained theres was broken and they fixed it for cheap and will send you this. (its fine they also give you a temporary warranty most of the time)
GL and Get in Contact With the PS3 People (idk who they are lol)
LITTLE TIP I know X Box 360 irregardless of lot number or warranty 95% of the time will just send you a refurbished one if you live in CANADA. (this is because of our "Extreme Environment")
(I asked what that was and they said the dust and waether and grass.)
SOURCE: Wont load games, but will still load DVD's and Blue Ray's
try deleting all files from the Game Data Utility and Saved Data Utility
SOURCE: ps3 wont play blu-ray but will play dvd
ps3 drive and blu ray drive inside of your ps3 went out. try cleaning them and if that doesn't work replace them or send it to sony.
SOURCE: ps3 will not load blue ray or game disc. Will
This is normally because the laser on the drive is slightly off. The good thing is that you can fix this yourself it is quite simple.
Or of course you can send it in to be fixed it is up to you.
If you send it in you will have to pay out about $130 to get it fixed.
