Depending on the hose type, any wand will work on any power washer, you may just need an adapter. Is the wand hard connected to the hose, screw on or quick connect?
I've used paslode for years and whenever there was a "hiss" of air and no fire- it was o-rings- When were the o-rings changed last? And how do you know they are in 'good shape'? You can't tell by just looking at them. If that isn't the problem then I can't help. Just as an aside- do you oil the gun (down the air intake nipple) every time you use it? Lack of oil will wear out o-rings fast. Sorry if this isn't overly helpfull but most gun problems are o-ring or seal related unless you've worn out or damaged a mechanical part.
Simple fix, just disconnect house end from washer, buy a new rubber washer o ring, like what is used for garden hoses. Put back on make sure it is tight. If still leaks, then need to replace connection end fitting on preside washer, can get those at almost any hardware store, use plumbers tape on threads when putting new fitting on machine, then connect house and back to those honey do list :)
You have broken or out of place o-rings in the gun. Unfortunately Hitachi doesn't make rebuild kits for their guns, you have to order each o-ring and seal you need to rebuild one. www.ereplacementparts.com is a good place to find a breakdown of your gun, you can also buy parts there or get the part numbers you need and shop the internet for prices. If you decide to do this make sure to liberally grease up the o-rings while reassembling the gun and get each o-ring back in its proper place.
If all of the o-rings have been replaced in the gun then one (or more) of the new rings was either installed in the wrong place, moved or was damaged when the gun was reassembled. When installing o-rings make sure they are very well greased with the lube that comes in the rebuild kit and that all are replaced exactly where they belong.
A nail gun works on compressed air. When you hook the air hose to the gun it fills a cylinder with air pressure. When you pull the trigger. the cylinder pressure is released onto a firing pin that shoots the nail. The air pressure line is also connected to the trigger and therefore the trigger has to be sealed.
When ever using a nail gun, you add a bit of gun oil in the back of the gun (not 3-in-1motor oil, it has to be non-detergent gun oil)
If you haven't used the gun in a while, it is best to oil up the gun and let the oil run down into the gun. If you use anything but gun oil, the seals will give out.
Your trigger seal has given out. It is probably an 'O' ring. You can access it by taking it apart. Look for the O ring. Bostich makes re-build kits for the different guns that you can buy on-line. Back when I was in construction, there were several nail gun shops that sold and serviced nail guns, and sold nails to the contractors. I don't know if that business model is still active or if you have to send the guns to Bostich service center.
There is an oring that is probably broke in half, It is referred to as a purple o ring. You can buy the whole trigger assembly but I think that just replacing the one will get you going. Let me know and I will try and help more
Hi, I repair lots of tools and ended up buying a complete like 2000 part o ring kit I keep in my shop, it has proven invaluable, If you can't find the o ring at a hardware store, give ample supply a call and see if they can help you, their number is 1-800-339-5667.
