Can only see half the screen

I just got beautiful katamari and i turned my xbox on to try and play it but i cant in HD. The screen has a big black line across it and then the top half again, ______________________

I've tryed a different TV iv tryed different cables and ive tryed all the different settings and still no luck. It works in SD fine and when i plugged it in to my monitor it worked aswell. My TV is a Sharp LC-32SA1EA or LC-32SV1EA. The monitor is 19" and the TV is 32".

Any help would be great.

All right you have a system error call xbox at 1-800-4my-xbox and tell them and send it in for reparis it takes two to three weeks not that bad free shping and if they can not fix your xbox they will give you a new one. i hope i helped you my email is [email protected]

Which TV Output do you have, mabye when you changed that PAL setting you screwed it up, and it made it black and white. If its an HD Screen make sure your switches and all of your plugs are plugged in.

Big black box while trying to play movies

Hello there, sorry to hear about your issue. Usually this indicates that someone has hit the CLOSED CAPTION button or possibly the PIP (picture in picture) button on the TV remote. There is nothing wrong with the xbox, it is actually a setting on your TV. Check the remote to see how you can disable closed captions.

The picture doesnt show but I hear the sound.

Don't worry the HD feed from the xbox 360 has a gain limiter
So the chances are more likely that either your Friends xbox has
the HD setting off or the TV has defaulted to standard video in.
If you get a black screen or a mesage that says no single .
But if your getting strange color on your set with the HD on
then we need to investigate this " Microsoft is liable!" for
damages caused by their console. Ill look in to this and
follow up. The xbox has broken connection under the poorly
soldered G.P.U. and will need to be re-flowed to the main
board to corrects this problem but that's a secondary priority
right now.

I'll check this out for you and follow up.

My Samsung just went black

If the crack is in the glass - your set should be considered "totaled". The cost of replacing the "display" will probably be more that it worth. If you are under warranty, contact the seller immediately.
