This is a function key operation.
Fn+K: has the same function as the Scroll Lock key on a conventional keyboard.

They key is on your keyboard and you don't need to use the Fn key.
As an alternative run osk.exe (On_Sreen Keyboard)

To remove the ThinkPad, from the ThinkPad Mini Dock Plus Series 3, the user turns the seperate key. The user does not need to remove the cable lock from the ThinkPad Mini Dock Plus Series 3

If the small plastic hinges are still attached to the keyboard, then place the key over these hinges, align it with the others keys and press down on the key until it click onto these hinges.

normally when a key pops off it can be resnaped back into place with very little effort. locate where it came from and just press it back down into place.
