Check the power socket to see if there is power, perhaps, try another outlet, if it did not still start,check the cord from your unit, it may be defective and will need to be replace.

Hi I used my drier and worked fine, went to turn it off and light stayed on and the off button would not turn off. Turned it off via the plug, now will not come back on. What is the fault , and is it easy to fix Many thanks . My tumble drier is a Login LVD7W15 Many thanks
Sounds like you may need new timer. They have contacts in side that control all fuctions of you machine if those contacts start failing or get burnt the machine will hit a certain spot in the timing and then it will stop or stall.
Sound like you have a machine programed on stitch mode, to override the program do the following:
1)Turn off the machine
2) With the machine turned off press the gun trigger.
3) Turn on your machine keep the trigger pressed, hold it for about 3-5 seconds. Depress the trigger and you should be good.
My washer did the same until i relalised that after the wash when light is flashing, turn control to stop position and wait until it stops flashing before turning machine off. Sometimes i have to turn control right around again for it to stop flashing but this is how it works.
That kind of machine is pretty well engineered!Very solid and work on a basic deal.The problem could be just the simple on/off button.
The pump is controlled by the button and if the button don`t stop the machine still understanding you need more until you close the circuit.Sometimes coukld be also a loose wire.
In some way you are lucky because that machine have not electronic board so...less part.....less problem
Yes the power cord was bad and I replaced it with a new one I bought a year ago but never used.
