This is a common fault on all LG sets with few people offering any solutions. I can offer a solution that could remove 95% if not 100% of the dots.
Remove the back of the set, there are about 40 screws. On the left hand side on a circuit board you will see 3 or 4 blue plastic boxes with yellow screw adjusters in them. The only 2 you are interested in are VR3 "setup" and VR2 "setdn". Mark the location with a marker pen so that you know where the factory settings were. Then turn VR3 fully clockwise. If this does not get rid completely do the same with VR2. This worked for me today, I was about to throw the TV away but I now have a 95% improved screen, sharper and more vibrant picture and saved hundreds. It only took about 20 minutes to do too. Hope it works.

I find the colour contrast is very dark could you send me ideal colour settings for perfect clarity thanks

Hello
Adjust the contrast to 55 to 70%; brightness to 45 to 55% and colour to your viewing taste. Now the brightness will be very low I thinks. Advance the brightness and contrast after setiing the colour to Zero. Adjust for a well defined B/W picture first. The advance the coulour. Take reference of the face colour of a news reader at studio. The picture will be perfect. OK.

Where there is anything in picture that is white in colour, the white area is filled with a scattered pink colour-

could be 1 of two things - tcon board or av board. I'd check th etcon board first though. I just replaced a tcon board that caused the screen to look like a picture negative.

Thanks,
Michael

The picture suffers from colour fringing

either the color wheel has lost a segment or the colorwheel index needs to be adjusted in the hidden menu using the color ramps test screen.

Red dots all over screen poor picture more when

This is a "mal-discharge" fault & will need either an adjustment on the Y-Sustain board or a software update to the control board. Contact your LG dealer to arrange someone to sort this out for you.

No red colour in my lg lcd monitor ..red colour setting doesnt bring any change i screeen..pls suggest some solution

it is very simple, by default in monitor circuit RGB (Red, Green, Blue) tube is installed. and in combination of both of three colors we are able to view colorful image. due to non functionalty of Red color u r not able to view red color in screen, either you replace picture tube or purchase new monitor. coz cost of this tube is equal to monitor.

There are tiny black dots on my LG Vantage screen

I have the same thing too. My guess is that some of your MEGApixels (tiny squares that create your screen) Are fried.

LG PLASMA TV WITH COLOURED LINES OVER SCREEN

If the Video (Picture/Pix) is gone but you can hear the Audio (sound), then it could mean the YSUS PCB Assembly is gone/kaput/finish. Can replace the PCB, not repair the PCB due to timing circuitry involve. Cost maybe roughly $500 depending where you located. The PCB is located on the left hand side of your TV when you are facing the back (Back open). Might find 3-4 brown flex membrane connecting to the plasma panel. The PCB has a silver or black aluminum heatsink (big) on it.
Good Luck.
