I own a Mitsubishi Model WT-46809, Serial 11382, 2001 September build, television which was working fine. Now, however, when I power it on it: makes it's click sound and the power light comes on, power light stays lit for a few seconds, then the click sound again and turns off. I am unsure what this could be related to, as it made no indication of it's bulb burning out or anything. I tried to unplug it from the power strip and into a direct socket to see, but to no avail. Any ideas?
There are 2 fuses -24v and 24 v normally would go out because
covergence ics failled . That would be a shutting down problem cased by missing those voltages.so you would need to replace those 5A (small green fuses) , you would need some kind of soldering and unsolderin skill) and the ics are stk392 570.two also. open the set from the fron ,taking speaker grill off and then the wood board behing (4-6 screws) you the the board in the center big metal heatsink. you would need to work from the back to repace those puppies.hdtvman

My turns on but after 5min it turns off
my mitsubishi wt-46809 will turn on , about 5 seconds the tv shuts off.
there is a thump sound when it turns off but that is a quick bass sound
coming from the speakers. i think it might need a new power supply ??
when it is turned on the bulbs look like they are trying to come on before
the tv shuts off. need help , thanks , [email protected]
