Goodmans ld3266d tv has stopped working has no power light have changed fuse in plug any ideas

There should be a default code. I would check with your cable provider.

Contact any service technician.

If you have tried absolutely every button ( sometimes a button works when you don't think it can be that one), try programming the remote with one of the alternative codes for your TV. It may just be that not all functions are available. A pain I know but unless someone else has tried with the same TV it there is no other way. If you can't solve it try a different remote, like oneforall.

you must adjust from the Moden with r.control from your supplier cables company, Not from the TV. The tv had capacity for to see any channel.

If you switch your tv of at the plug the software cant do the updates. Leave the tv in standby over night and that should work.
If you do leave it on standby but still losing channels contact goodmans as you may need an update of the software

Look at the power supply to see if anyhting burnt, fuse, bad capacitors. I doubt that the power cord is bad, the same size fuse should be used as the original one.

On your sky remote press interactive-skyactive-help-set up my remote follow instructions. If your Model No not on list keep checking for updated info. If no joy then contact goodmans customer services.

99.9% chance its the power supply. If you have basic electronic knowledge you could repair it yourself for a few dollars, send it to be repaired for around $100, or check Ebay or the parts houses for a replacement for between $30-200. I just bought a new supply for an Insignia 37" from Best-Buy Parts for $34 when everyone else wanted $99--179. Do some research and make you own decision. Let me know if I can help further. CC

Sounds like the power surge may have blown the fuse in the TV. You can replace the fuse and see if that works. If not, more damage to the power supply unit may have occurred.
