DOOR LOCK ERROR
A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will tryto lock it six times before displaying the error code.

Possible Causes/Procedure ? Door lock mechanism is broken or removed from door.
? Door switch/lock unit failure.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check door switch/lock unit.
3. Check the wire harness connections to the door switch/lockunit and Central Control Unit (CCU). Since you replaced the lock assembly, I would check all the wiring connections on the CCU. What is your model number?

This means the outlet thermistor, the one on the blower housing, is open. But since the thermistor has been replaced twice and the error code still flashes (make sure it is cleared after the replacement by pressing STOP twice), the wire harness (including the connectors) connecting it to the electronic control board is cut open or the electronic control board itself is faulty and not detecting the thermistor connected.

Check the connections and the continuity of the wire harness and replace or repair it if found cut open. Consider a faulty electronic control board if the wire harness and the connectors are intact and the thermistor is known to be 100% good. Normal thermistor resistance is around 8500 ohms to 13500 ohms at room temperature (27-21 degrees centigrade).

"F22" is a door latch failure error code. At the beginning of the wash cycle the door will attempt to lock several times. If the latch fails to lock, the washer shuts down and the error code is displayed.
In some cases, the error code can also be displayed if the CCU goes bad. There is a door latch relay on the board that controls the door locking mechanism. The CCU is not serviceable and must be replaced if defective. In addition, make sure all the connector plugs between the CCU and door latch are connected and snug.

f22 is a door lock error try this hit cancel turn your dial to another setting, hit start and once it starts hit cancel again and it should unlock. thats what i did anyway.
If you're getting an F22 error, you will want to check anything to do with the door latch switch.

the f22 code is a failed thermistor. you can try to change this yourself but if the unit is less then a year old then it will be covered by warranty.
the part is only about 30 bucks so if you can get one and find it behind the lint screen duct then you could change it and fix the problem.

f22 is a door lock error and f28 is a commication error you still have warranty thorugh whirpool. you're going to need pro. help

TAKE 3 SCREWS OUT THAT HOLD THE BOTTOM FRONT PIECE REACH UP BEHIND AND ON THE DOOR LOCK MECHANISM THERE IS A ROUND PLASTIC DOOHICKEY PULL IT DOWN ABOUT 1/2 AN INCH OR AS FAR AS YOU CAN AND IT WILL UNLOCK THE DOOR. I WOULD UNPLUG UNIT FIRST. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE F22 THING. MY JUNKER DOES THE SAME THING PERIODICALLY, I UNPLUG AND REPLUG IT TO CORRECT

f 22 is the code for door Lock failed after six tries try hitting pause/cancel twice if door unlocks spray lock with wd 40 try again and advise
