When i turn on my calculator the screen is black

You calculator screen is black maybe because your screen brightness/contrast is low. It needs to be adjusted. To do this, turn on your calculator, press the 2nd button and the up button until your screen is brighter. Hope this helps!
When turning calculator on for a brief second the numbers on the screen are visible and then the screen in the center for an area about the size of a quarter is black. Any suggestions???
