SOURCE: Leaking dishwasher

Are you washing cereal bowls or mixing bowls on the bottom rack? If so, are you placing them in front? Sudden leaks that form huge puddles can often be attributed to improper loading of the dishwasher. Most dishwashers don't have a seal across the tub front. The door closes over it and does a pretty good job of deflecting water back inside the wash cavity. However, if you place bowls in the front on the bottom rack rack they can divert the water right over the tub lip and onto the floor. This is usually the culprit that causes most leaks in dishwashers. Now, if you don't think you have a loading problem, remove the kick panel on the bottom of the dishwasher and check the drain line and pump housing for leaks. Check the door gasket for tears or cracks. Lastly, feel inside the bottom of the door with your hand. You should be able to feel the door insulation. If it is wet, then the problem could be a leak around your soap or rinse-aid dispenser. Depending on the model, some dispensers are mounted to the door with a gasket behind it. Sometimes this gasket can form leaks. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: another inlet / drain light cycle interruption problem!

When the water stops too soon, it could be the "over flow" is stuck in the downward position, therefore the dishwasher thinks it's going to over flow. Check that out. Otherwise I'm afraid this sounds like the circuit board is shot.

SOURCE: Miele g841sc dishwasher leaks

Typically the machine only uses 5-6 quarts of water, If you're floor is getting 1 or 2 quarts check for a loosly connected intake or drain hose. I've never seen any overflow drain on a Miele. It only fills the bottom of the tub. The machine uses a logic program that continuously checks the level of fill and drain by water pressure weight so it always runs with proper amount, even if your intake pressure is weak. Now, If you add too much soap then the bubbles can carry a few ounces over a worn door seal. If the seal is damaged then more spray arm water can run down the front of the machine into the float pan. But after it gets less than a pint of water the drain float will start thr drain pump and shut-off the machine controls and alert you. It won't let you run the machine until the water ( and the problem) is gone. Call Miele for help.

No drum sound when starting up

Here's the answer according to TomTom:

So don´t worry this is as designed. Yo will hear the drumroll sound only when performing a soft reset (pressing the power button for about 20 sec) or when starting after a complete shut down (pressing the power button for about 10 sec). But when shutting down normal to suspend mode (button for 2-3 sec) there will be no sound.

Miele g2020 dishwasher will not stop 'running' even when power is off

The circuit board in the panel has been compromised. It may need replacing and if so, that should be done by a profession technician. You may try to pull the power plug from the wall socket, let the machine rest for a few minutes, and then replace the cord once again. Restart the machine from the panel control on/off button or switch. If it did a reset, your in business. If Not the circuitboard has a problem.

I press the power off button and it doesn't power off

You should never power down by pressing the power button unless your system is deadlocked and won't respond to any other actions. Powering off in this fashion can cause you to lose data, corrupt files, and improperly shut down Windows.

Nonetheless, if you are in need of shutting down the laptop in this fashion you must hold the power button instead of only pressing it. You'll find this in the power settings of the device. Honestly, the power button may even be set to do nothing, which is possible.

To properly shut down your new Pavilion laptop, which should be running Windows 7, follow this process: Click Start > Shut Down

Start is now simply a circular Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the screen and shut down has an arrow pointing down next to it. Click the words shut down instead of the arrow which will bring up other power save options.

When it starts up it goes thru the steps then the error light comes on and it will not print. I put in a new ink cartridge and it did not help

The 8 beep error you are getting is a waste ink tank full error. The BJC 85 has a waste ink " tank " that is actually a series of absorbent cotton pads in the bottom of the printer. When these pads fill with ink, the printer is designed to produce that error and stop printing until the pads are replaced.

I can give you a work around to this and get you printing, but you must understand that, because the waste ink absorber is full, ink will eventually start leaking out into the bottom of your printer and either leak out of the printer, or end up shorting out the main circuit board , which is also in the bottom.

Here is the work around that will reset the printer and get you printing again:

1. Shut off the printer and unplug it from the power supply.

2. While holding down BOTH the POWER and RESUME buttons, plug the power supply back in. KEEP HOLDING DOWN the buttons until after the printer does it's initial actuation and then goes quiet again, then let go of the buttons. .

3. With the fingers of one hand Hold down the RESUME and CARTRIDGE buttons and with the other hand hold down the POWER button. Listen for 2 BEEPS. they will not be loud, and one will be longer than the other. When you hear the 2 beeps, let go of all the buttons.

4. Now press the CARTRIDGE button 15 times. You will hear a beep each time it' pressed. Make sure you count the beeps correctly.

5. After you have pressed the cartridge button 15 times, then press the RESUME button. The printer will beep and shut off.

6. Press the POWER button and the printer will power on and be ready to print. At this point, the printer will have been reset to indicate the waste ink is 50% full.

If you make a mistake, you can unplug the prnter and start over from step 1 at any time.

REMEMBER: Your waste ink pads are still FULL. You need to either replace the pads, or replace the printer before to much time goes by. If you see any ink leaking out the bottom of the printer, definitely stop using it.

Leaking fridge

The U shaped copper tube is most likely the drain tube where the water frost defrost exits and drains into a drain pan to be evaporated. Even thing is fine, do not shut it down nor call for service. If you hear it again wait twenty minutes and it should stop. Then check it and I'm sure you will find it is O.K.
Have a nice day.

Suddenly no filtered water comes out, but there are gurgling sounds inside

I guess make sure the filter didn't unseat itself first, also check the O-rings, etc. to make sure they didn't roll off their position on the filter. If that's all OK, you really need to find that gurgle sound cause that's likely the water you are missing going "somewhere" it's not supposed to go. Look all over for water leaks even if you have to pull the unit out from the wall... keep looking!
