You should be able too. You will need a torx #20 driver bit to remove the bezel around the screen. Carefully... The screen can be easly scratched

The screen is not damaged at all, he fell into the corner of it. Someone else mentioned I could fix it. I hope they are right, but I guess we'll see, thank you for your help!

Husband fell on controller now we only get blue screen...tivo still works

Possibly it is just the input that has been changed. Find the input and press that a few times to cycle through. If that does not work I will check back and ask some other questions to get this resolved.

When my son closed the front passenger side door, the window fell down inside the door and we cannot get it back up. Is this the window regulator? Is it something we can fix ourselves?

Window regulator or cable, depending on what you have

You remove the inner door panel to gain access to what
broke

Wether you can fix it, depends on your own skills

Not fun ,but I would never recommend anyone but you
doing it

Not the job repair shops like & in most cases only put
broken parts back on & 4 days later it falls down again

Don't know why they have always done that, rather the just
fixing it the first time

It looks like a felt or rubber piece of trim has fallen in front of the screen...can we take off the front panel to fix ourselves?

Definitely can. Just take off the screws on the outside that go around the back the screen. You will then be able to slightly move out the screen and see if there is an obstruction blocking.

Have you tried checking the fuses this is a solution i posted a little while ago!!! I was watching tv there was a popping noise and screen went blank. My husbands very practical and we took the back off the tv ,we tested the fuses with a fuse tester and one had blown we took the fuse too Maplin our nearest electrical wholesaler who found us new fuses £1.29 for a pack of 10. We replaced the blown fuse now everything works as it should. Hope this helps we saved about £275 by doing it ourselves but do make sure you feel competent enough to have a go its not that hard but do make sure you unplugg the tv from the electric before you attempt taking off the back and checking the fuses and be careful as tvs can store a electric ok
