I have a GE smartwater reverse osmosis system model number GXRM10GBL02. Water leaks daily from the small hole on the faucet on my counter top. Any idea why water comes out that small hole? Otherwise the system work fine.

That is the drain for the reverse osmosis system. You have what is referred to as an AIR GAP faucet. The waste water is pushed up there before it goes to drain just as the drain for a dishwasher does. If water is coming out of the faucet the drain is most likely plugged or the line is kinked causing water to back up and overflow. Check the drain line for kinks and clean out the drain where it attaches to the stand pipe.

Water filter drain running all the time

Is this a new system? The should be a small restriction in the drain line. The size of the restriction is matched to the gallon per minutes of the R.O. system. Yours could be missing or not the right size, ie not enough restriction.

Canisters on my ge smart water filtration system gxsv10c model are stuck tight. How do i get them open

Make sure the water is turned off to system. Open the faucet to system to drain any water and keep the faucet turned on to keep pressure off filter housings.
1.Use the wrench to take housings off.
2. If they still won't budge take a small 2x4 block of wood and hammer, set the block of wood on the RIB for the housing and tap with hammer.
3. Change the o-rings in both housings, lubricate with silicone lube and lubricate the threads on housings with silicone also.
3. Rinse housings with small amount of bleach and clean thoroughly.
4. Replace filters and housings.
5. IMPORTANT: Only tighten housings by hand. NEVER tighten housings with wrench.

Sink tap has overflow going directly into the drain and constantly running. This is a reverse osmosis system that is outside warranty.

If you mean the little weep hole on the tap is leaking? If so, then the drain line connected to the sink drain is clogged. Remove this line and see if it's draining free.(have bucket ready) Most likely it will be where it enters your sink drain at that fitting, clogged with sink drain materials.

GE SmartWater RO Filter Tank Leaking?

I had same system under my sink for same amount of time and have since then removed entirely for health reasons related to Ro Systems. Mainly the tanks becomes contaminated [alge build up]and my faimly had constant nagging stomach aches which took a long time to resolve untill we decided to disconnected and throw out our "beloved healthy RO System" and decided to install a bi annual disposable type filter system. If you are expereanceing this I would advise the same as for the leak ,There are so many connections under there and it is usually not the tank but the fittings in lines some where and the reason it looks like the tank is because that is the lowest point the leak has traveled. So check all your fittings and if you decide on simple water filter I will advise you.
