Kenmore, f2 We moved in with the stove here about 7 years ago, and it was unplugged for the last 2 years. We plugged it in today and the F2 error appears and the beeping won't stop. Please help! It's built in with a microwave on top.

was getting intermittent f2 error now oven won't come on at all.

Kenmore are made by many different manufacturers of their appliances..

F2 error is most likely a oven sensor problem . your over sensor has to low or high Ohms or you Electromic oven control thinks it has to high of an Ohm reading. replace oven sensor and or control

It would help to know what make and model of stove it is.
The first step is to unplug the stove from the wall for 30 seconds or more, then plug it back in

Your model is actually a 911. Roper (Whirlpool)

The F2 error code is

E0 - Shorted keypad (also called touch pad)

E1 - Keypad cable unplugged

E5 - Cancel key drive line open

E6 - Cancel key drive line open

Solutions:

1. Check keypad connector for firm connection (keypad connects to control board).

2. Press CANCEL. If error code returns after 60 seconds, replace keypad (also called touch pad or membrane switch). Some models incorporate keypad in to control board as one unit. In this case, replace control board (also called ERC or clock).

Most stoves F-2 error is a bad sensor.

EO F2 on our Kenmore oven keeps coming up.

The "F2 - E0" error code means "Shorted keypad".

Remove power from the range, open the control panel and unplug the membrane switch ribbon from the control board.Reconnect power to the range and observe for an hour.If the error code reappear - replace the control board.If not - replace the membrane switch.

EO -F2- Error?

F2-E0 - Shorted Touch Pad (Keypad) - Check the connection between the touch pad (keypad) and control board (clock) to make sure it is secure.
Select the 'cancel' function and wait 60 seconds.
If error code reappears then replace the touch pad, or touch pad and control board (clock) if all one assembly.
