A few days ago I got an alert message from my phone stating that I was running out of phone space and needed to delete some items. So I attempted to delete my entire sent folder and my phone froze. When I turned it back on all the messages were back. I then individually went in and deleted almost 500 messages. They were completely gone. When I restarted my phone ALL THE MESSAGES WERE BACK! But the ones I had sent the day before (and had not deleted) were no where to be found.

you need to delete some of your texts also go to your setting and click auto delete on it will delete the last one everytime you fill up your box so you will never run out of space.

Cannot expand capacity, but you must delete your SENT messages. They are taking up the room and leaving you with only a small amount of space for your inbox. Check your outbox and sent msgs and delete them.

maybe you should just back up your information and do a master reset it could be a memory leak =(

tried clearing the push content.

delete all email texts un-necessary files and clear your search history on you internet, you may want to use a card for storage, on your email you can set it to store to card and can also do that for photos and files.

Hi, probably you messages are saved into your sim card, try to delete then ito into it, you should be ok. goood luck

STEP 1 : First check for the free space in the handset

1. selece the option icon in the main menu
2. scroll down and then select memory
3. check for the free space in the device.If the memory is full then delete some application.

After doing all the above steps with out switching off the handset remove the batery and sim after few seconds reinsert them again.
For refreshing the handset .


STEP 2:
Check the old messages are deleting are new one if old messages are deleting then follow the below steps.

1. Select the message icon from the main menu
2. Press menu button and select the Option
3. Select the general option
4. scroll down and select KEEP MESSAGES as per your wish (30days, 15 days, forverer)
5. After selecting any one of the option press menu button and select save .

if you select 15 or 30days the old messages will delete after 15 or 30 days.
If you select forever till you delete the messages it wont delete untill you delete them.

After doing all the above steps with out switching off the handset remove the batery and sim after few seconds reinsert them again.
For refreshing the handset

Step 3:
if the messages and call logs are deleting in between then there is problem in the handset software.You have to take the backup and then reinstall the software of the handset.

My N73 phone has problem.Its memory always states "NOT ENOUGH MEMORY TO PERFORM OPERATION DELETE SOME DATA FIRST.I already deleted many datas like pictures and music..but it is still the same. please help me.

The solution was to do a hard reset on the phone. It literally cleared everything off the
phone. Luckily I had everything backed up. Phone works great now.

Its ur SIM Cards message memory which is full.
Go to ur phones messages settings and set ur message memory to phone or memory card.
