Most stores will only give you 30 days to return something. You obviosly have either a bad plasma panel or a scan board. Either way you should have a manufacturers warranty. Contact the store for that info.

Yes, yes, yes. Change all bulgy, puffy capacitors by exactly the same value and voltage. Look for any excessive voltages in these areas where you find such capacitors. But replace capacitors only one by one. Never remove all of them together, as you are likely to misplace the capacitors, creating more problems. Also look for any loose contacts and dry solders.

I have a LG Plasma Flat screen TV. I purchased it

With seeing the picture it will be hard fro me to tell what..I am going to guess according to the information you've provided.
It could a buffer or a signal board(s). This TV is only 4 Months old I would call LG and file a warranty claim. LG (800) 243-0000

Best of luck

New (12/2007) 1080p Samsung 46" LCD TV. Flickering white horizontal lines on entire left screen. Double picture. What's up?

At this point there is not much you can do.
If this LCD is less then a year old, I would suggest to contact the manufacturers to get it fix under their warranty.
Good Luck.

Flicker-Blinking on picture

Too late now but I hope you had it serviced while it was still on parts warranty. With a couple of exceptions, service on those is by major pcb replacement.
