Hi, could someone please help me with sound problems.. Today it broke down - don't know why, because nothing has been updated/installed or uninstalled.. I have searched in WEB for possible solutions, but I don't get it - if I look @Control panel -> Sound and audio Devices-> hardwares, I can see that there's a list of them, including the Realtek; but - when I go to each Tab - it shows that there are no playback devices that could be used as a default device. All the windows are inactive. Does anyone know how to solve this? Many thanks!

check the lid switch,set the timer on spin,push it in so it will run,get a screw driver or anything that will fit into the hole on the right side,that's the lid switch,the strike on the lid hits it when you close the lid,if the switch is broke it kills the power to the machine,it's a safety so the machine won't run with the lid open,when you push down on the switch you should hear a click and it should spin and drain,if you don't hear a clicking sound the switch is broke,or you can close the lid,lift it up a few inches and close it down,do this a few times,when it closes and opens if you don't hear a clicking sound the switch is bad.part number 3949247 and it's around 45 dollars.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFsvLiuTniU copy and paste,it will show you how to get at the switch.let me know what you find so if someone else has the same problem they will read what you found,thanks

NOT a fuse... thaat person knows nothing. There is something wrong for sure. Check if one of the buttons or keys MIGHT be stuck down (depressed). Sometimes the units check that all the control buttons are up and they don't really tell you why they fail to start. Beyond this a repair shop is in order.

Don't worry! The problem is not at your end.

This error is because playstation network is down. There is nothing you can do but wait until the server comes back online. This may take 24 hours or more until Sony have figured out the Network error.

Hi,not knowing what operating system your running its not posible to completly walk you through the fix.All I can say is update your video card drivers and your sound drivers,I know you said you have sound but that is most likely the problem.After any program install its a good idea to update video and sound drivers.Hope this has helped if so please rate....

I bought my 2004 aveo 49 miles. I've had several issues with the car. But recently I been experiencung high idle at start up and clutching. I change IAC. Plugs and wireds. Nothing worked. Today the high idle became constant. It was a metal bubble flex tube near the IAC unit that goes to the exhaust stuff down behind the motor. It apparently was cracked cause today it broke causing the constant high idle sound like a vacumn. We blocked it off with a stick to get the idle back down to 900 rpm instead of 3-4000 rpm took we can get to auto zone for high temp hose per Chevy dealer. I hope this helps someone cause it was fustrating and costly.

Make sure all of your drivers are updated for the webcam and the sound card. To check the drivers go to the manufacturer's websites for each of these products. Also, make sure your yahoo messenger is updated and make sure that the Windows Live Essentials is updated to latest version. If this does not solve your problem, please let me know.

i had the same problem for arround 3 months. almost a month after i bought the phone -- this is really really anoying. what i did was to clean all the messages i had in the memory. it worked out. i don;t know if it will work for you but try. also try reseting the phone. i did the same and it helped.

I had that problem, this worked for me: first switch the system off and on at the back( so the red light is on) hold down the power switch at the front until you hear two beeps. It will reset the ps3 and bring up some display and sound menus,just follow the instructions and it should work. I hope this works for you!
P.S This will NOT wipe the harddrive

hi. i had the same problem all audio worked just when i pluged earphones in sound was going from speakers not from earphones. well i had before some problems with windows what may cause it. dont know why but after pressing Fn+F5 the earfone output started work corectly. probably some hardware initialization failure
