I have a Pentax Optio 30, and in a seperation I am sure my ex took the original disk that came with the camera. Now I have a different computer and would like to use this camera again. Can I get set up with or without a disk? I have windows 2000 pro.

I have the same problem to.Do u mind to teach me how to fix it?I mean the step to fix the green screen?I have try to change many mode but the reseult is still same.Also i do transfer some of the images that i took to computer but still the image that i took is in green color.Kindly please assist me.

I am having the same problem. On the pentax site it does not list disc s-sw39. Apparently it only applies to later models. oh well....

You do not need any form of driverThe computer simply reads the camera as another removable drive
It will inact show the Camera/Scanner Wizard

Optio 33L and Vista

Plug camera into USB port using the cable supplied, and switch the camera on. Computer will display the "found new hardware" sign, and ask you to insert the disk that came with the 33L into the disk drive. That done, the drivers will be installed in the usual manner. AT LEAST, THAT'S HOW I DID IT - AND IT WORKS!

You can get the manual for your cameras at the website I posted below. It is the same as the original that came with your camera, it's free of charge and you can print or save it, it will answer your questions. Good luck.

we had the cable of the other digicam connected.
Unfortunately they fit physically but the wires
seem to be different.
We now took the original cable and it wirks fine.

After formatting my PC to upgrade it I've been unable to install the USB driver software to save pictures from my Tentax OPtio S4i to my PC.

My computer isn't recognising my camera when I plug it into the USB port.

When I've tried to install the Driver using the disk I got with my camera, at the stage where it asks me to MODIFY REPAIR or REMOVE, the software I get the following showing up on display boxes:

You should get the original Pentax cable- the Pentax I-USB7 USB Cable for the Optio WPi, WP & S55 Digital Cameras. It's compatible with the 450 as well.
