Using Canon ip3000 printer, photos are not coming out vivid. Using a diff printer the are much more colorful. Is this a set up issue or driver issue?

I have a canon pixma 610 all my grayscale prints are coming out sepia why?

You are either low on one of the black inks or the ink you are using is of a low quality. If neither of those it could be a clogged print head or a driver issue. My money is on the ink though.

Printer does not come out of the Manual color setting

When printing tell printer to use color space sRGB.
let printer determine color.
see if that works.

Printing in color

hi

often the printer 'driver' settings on your printer are set to greyscale only
on the pc open the control panel, printers
right click on the printer and select properties
open the control for the printer and go to the printing preferences (on the general tab)
on the next window (main) look down and ensure the setting is set to colour (not greyscale)
ok out and try printing again

these settings are from my iP5000 and should be similar
try looking in the preferences for similar options
