I replaced my color wheel in my Samsung HLN4365 TV and worked for a couple of months, now it is making an intermittent buzzing sound and Lamp light is blinking. Is this possibly fixable or what?

If I am to see visually if the Ballast board is ARKING as you say, then I am to infer I need to have the back off or the lamp door off while turning on the tv? Is this possible? If so is this safe? I have pretty much assumed my next step would be to replace the lamp, however with the noise and all I was unsure I would be able to fix it. If I just need to replace the lamp this is good news. After posting this I had left the TV unplugged for about 10 or so hours and later plugged it back in and turned it on and it came on with no problem??? Weird huh? I am fairly confident that it is the lamp however and I will simply need to shell out the money and replace it. If you or anyone else have any insight into this and can confirm or change my thoughts on this I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks again. W. PS. I would replace the Lamp. Lamps last between 5,000-8,000 playing hours,when lamp is going bad set will play for so long then turn off and finally Tv will not come on. PS. I intuitively thought that was going to be the solution, I greatly hope that is the "FIX" and my tv I bought originally from a friend for $300 will continue working for a few more years?
