My Acer Aspire 3000 can not log on window, because forget the password?

1. you will need your Acer recovery disk
   

2. insert into CDROM tray

You can reset a lost or forgot Windows password with 4 methods below:
1. Another valid administrator account which can normally log on.
2. A password reset disk or a repair disc, which is created in advance ( before you lost password ).
3. Third-party software to create a bootable password reset CD/DVD or USB, like Windows Password Recovery Tool 3.0 .
4. Re-install. Will lose data.

The experience forgot admin windows password happened to me few days ago. And I searched in the Internet to find the solution. Then I found a windows password reset tool called Windows Password Reset have a good evaluation.

I tried it as the steps:
Step1:Download and install Windows Password Reset
Step2:Burn Windows Password Reset ISO file to CD/DVD,or USB.
Step3:Put in my newly created CD and remove my Windows Password.

It really great help to me reset windows admin password.

try keeping the username and password windows empty (blank) and click ok

Log on to your computer with safe mode
Steps
1. Start your computer
2. As soon as you see the first black screen when the computer starts , keep on pressing F8
You will see advanced options menu
Select " Safe mode with net working"
Now your computer will give you an option to log in with the administrator username
You need to log in with Admin and then goto control panel and change the password for your username ...



If this does not work then plz reply back stating the Operating system you have like windows XP, vista , 98 , 2000 etc...

if you mean the bios password you need to remove the bios battery for about 10 minutes, if you mean the windows log on password, then you will have to get into windows in safe mode (press F8 on boot up) and get in as administrator and delete or change the password on your user account.
