You need to do a deep reset by using the *#7370# sequence. This will completely format phone memory. Default files are cleaned up and rewritten.

I suggest that you go to your contract provider, and you have them reset your phone so it is usable. I have had this done many, many times with many different service providers. They won't have a problem helping you. Best of Luck.
