PAPER JAM ERROR MESSAGE

Have you tried a new toner cartridge, The toner cartridge has moving parts, and of the cartridge gets stuck, the printer may indicate a paper jam.

Also paper often tears when clearing jams, and the little shreds of paper can stay in the rollers of the printer and keep it jammed. Make sure to inspect all the rollers to make sure they move freely, and do not have anything stuck in them.

can u explain mean clearly....... restart the machine and then try it........

The 200 and 200.xx Paper Jam error messages indicate a problem with paper jammed at the front of the printer, under the toner cartridge. To resolve this issue, please refer to this article: http://bit.ly/122frro.

If you are getting 201 error code, it means a paper jam has occurred. To fix this problem please Open the front door. Remove the toner cartridge and remove the jammed print media.

Power off the printer, check the entire paper path of the printer for any jammed sheets of paper or other obstructions. Remove any obstructions you find and try printing again. Check if the page setting may be incorrect or paper size and the paper size settings do not match and make sure that the paper size in the printer driver settings matches the paper in the tray.

These are the messages got stuck in print queue, you have to release the print queue, First got to Printer and Faxes, there would be your printer icon (Lexmark E342n) Laser printer icon, double click on that, you would see all the messages stuck in queue, release or delete from there. that has to work, please let me know if it works or not

According to the LexMark support page, this is most often related to not getting the print cartridge assembly properly positioned. (Left and right sides not fully in place). Another possible source is paper in the output tray when using the double sided printing feature. (This leads to grabbing an extra sheet when it tries to retrieve the paper to print the second side. Paper stock thickness will change the number of pages printed before this happens.).

This error can be caused by many reasons, some of them are:

Caused by Paper Stuck Under the Second Transfer Roll

Sporadic or Intermittent 200 Paper Jams

"200 Paper Jam" Resulting from a Possibly Damaged Tray

"200 paper jam" When Attempting to Print from Tray 2

usually it means that a sensor in your fuser is bad. If you have a P.M. Kit replaced the fuser and clean the printer.

but before you do, make sure that you have cleared all jams, including in the fuser.

Its probably time for a Preventive Maintanence
