Pioneer SD-533HD5 53 in. Rear Projection HDTV Television - Need Manual ....

ManualsLib has the manual for the SD-533HD5 here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/384249/Pioneer-Sd-643hd5.html . (The manual covers two models.) Once you modify the picture parameters (starting from STD, REF THEATER, GAME), these are stored as the User mode. If you press Menu when done changing the parameters, that input should maintain the User settings for the last setting until you change the Picture type. If you modified the parameters for STD and then return to that input and change the Picture to GAME, any modifications to the GAME picture parameters will become the new User Mode. See page 50 of the manual for the details: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/384249/Pioneer-Sd-643hd5.html?page=50#manual .

I hope this helps.

I'm having problems with my Sony Trinitron KV-24FV300 where the color slowly shifts between very warm (red) hues and very cool (green) hues. This is also an issue when I first turn the TV on. It kind of...

It sounds like the CRT may have a intermittent short in it. Many times the impurities or oxidation occurs and these impurities are conductive. When the set is first turned on it shows the flaw and as the CRT warms up the impurities react to the heat and the short is removed until the set is turned off and cools down. The only cure would be to replace the CRT. Do to the cost of doing this I would just use the set until it ceases to go to a normal picture.
I hope this helps,

Sounds like the gun is trying to fire up but has internal problems. You may want to see if you want to tackle the job of changing it out. Check with MCM Electronics to see cost of a new gun. 1-800-543-4330 or www.mcmelectronics.com

Pioneer sd-533hd5, STKs changed, getting blue screen but not pict

Did you have double image before changing the stk's ? If not then there was no need to change them.. Pioneers are known for bad solder connections especially in the power supply section.. suggest checking that when you changed the stk's that there are no solder bridges between the pins of either stk ICs

My pioneer model sd-533hd5 shuts off after 5 mins and goes to stand buy

Replace Both of your STKs ,if it has the STK392-110s do not go back with these they do not hold up use STK392-180s for parts call Electronix Parts 1-800-223-3205.

Power problem (switches to standby)

its the problem of the ics on the main power supply board

Do the IC heat sinks get warm??

If they do not, check fuses F852 - 2AMP, F853 - 1.25AMP, F850 & F851 - ALL 5AMP on the power deflection pcb. THESE ARE NOT GLASS FUSES. They are usually about the size of a 1 watt resistor and either green or orange in color. They are soldered in. The nomenclature is printed on the component side of the board. They are all about centered on the opposite edge of the PCB as the high voltage transformer.

If you have cleaned up the mess you describe you most likely have one of these fuses blown.

if dont have any technical knowledge its advisable to call a technician as it is worth getting it fixed.

thanks.
