The margin lights are flashing and nothing is responding. It seems locked up. Have turned off and back on several times and nothing changes. This is a Lexmark 6781-025 IBM personal Wheelwriter 2.

Disconnect all power. Flip the laptop to unlock and remove the battery. Reinsert and lock the battery. Power on, again.

Hey there, I had the same problem back in mid-2010 Seemed that the circuit board died. They had to change the whole board just because 1 circuit died which failed to connect to the LCD.
So once they changed it, it was only about $130. The TV worked as good as new.

We have not heard back on this in about a week. I'm presuming It's been repaired?

holding the button for four seconds will not do it, you have to hold it until the light stops blinking and
will go back to normal, normall takes more than four seconds to unlock the unit, this is something
the sears repair techs know becouse the are trained on all this things but, they will not share this things, becouse thats how they make money

disconnect the printer from the computer - power off printer - check for obstructions / torn papers - power on

if paper light is still on/flashing and pressing it does not do anything - you got a hardware issue - call manufacturer for reccomendation

Solution. My wireles keyboard stopped working except for the F-Lock key, the Media key and the sleep key. It wasn't batteries, even though I tried, communication was there because the above keys were working. Remove the batteries from your keyboard and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Press the red connect button a few times and other various keys every few minutes during that time. This may be the whole "capacitor discharge" trick, but I tired that with someone elses instructions and my keyboard did not work after 2 minutes of key pressing. I think it just needed more time to clear out the secure settings. Good luck, I was about to trash this keyboard until I tried again
