My maytag washer is not holding the water and it drains it before it washes. I tried it at different water levels and it kept on draining the water every time I start it.

Check and make sure your drain from the washer is not pushed to far down in to the WALL DRAIN PIPE Because if it is the water will SIPHON out faster than you can fill.. Pipe should only be down about 6 inches in to drain and secured... Hope this Helps

Neptune washer ballasting water

No, drain it. Just remove the drain hose from the clip at the rear and low the hose into a pail or cooking tray. Gravity will do the rest. Make sure it is always kept upright unless you have the transport brackets.

Maytag centennial washer

Put some water in the washer tub, a few gallon should do it. Then turn machine back on, it will recognize when the water has drained out and stop that cycle.

Just got a new maytag bravos washer and it will not go past the sensing stage and as it puts water into the washer it drains as fast as it goes in

You must make sure the drain hose is above the water level and not in the water in the "P" trap of the house drain. There must be air to prevent siphoning. The drain hose should not go more than about 12" down in the drain tube.

What does the code nd stands for on the maytag front load washer?

ND No Drain Machine control board monitors water level in washer during and at the end of pump out. If wash level does not reset pressure switch, it will see water left in the washer. 1.Check for pump/drain restriction. 2.Check pump operation.
3.Check pressure switch for open contacts.
4.Check inputs and outputs at machine control board.
5.Replace responsible component.

Maytag top loadind washer. Won't stop filling up.

Make sure your drain hose to the drain pipe is higher than the water in the tub if not it will keep running and going out the drain.
Also try taking the hose off the level switch and blow in it to be sure it's not stoped up. If is it won't let the level sw cut off. air should go through it. Good luck
When you unpluged the power and it ddn't keep runing the water valve should be ok.

My maytag washer, will not fill w/waterit runs in

Check your drain hose. It only goes into the drain stand pipe from 4 to 6 inches. Insertion any further will creat a siphon and constantly drain the tub. The stand pipe needs to be at least 36 inches from the floor.

Can''t get my clothes out... water still inside

does it have a dial that you can manually turn to start the next cycle? You can usually drain the water by pulling the drain hose out from the wall drain behind hte washer....( usually just shoved in the drain not attached) but be aware that when you hold the hose below the water level in your washer it will start to drain. Then perhaps the door will unlatch.

Washer less than a year old. Top loading. Will

Have you moved recently, or moved the washer for any reason?

Two things can usually cause that.

First, Some part of the drain hose must always be higher than the highest possible water level in the machine. Remember that water flows downhill. If all the hose is lower then the highest possible water level the machine can never fill since water will drain out hose. So, raise the hose higher than the flat top of the washer and try again.

2A, Inserting the drain hose too far into the house drain. or 2B, sealing out ALL air in the drain line by using a hose too tight in the drain pipe or taping the drain pipe tightly with the drain hose in it can both create a vacuum in the drain line which will actually **** out all the water in the tub. This can be tested by pulling the drain all the way out and aiming it into the tub as you try it. Good Luck.

Washer Will Not Hold Water

What height is mentioned in your manual for your drain pipe (the outlet pipe for your machine) There should be a height (before u bend it downwards into the drain) or the water will just flow out........... And do not over-load your washer.
