Error codes I have a brand new Ilumina and I am receiving some strange error codes. I can print from the panel (error code list), but not from the computer. Something seems wrong with the networking; I have disconnected from the ethernet and tried powering up, but it hangs up on initializing, then a whole host of error codes appear. Is there a list of codes somewhere?

disconnect the power cord, open back panel(hinged door and connecting panel(2 screws). check the security of all the connectors on the 2 main circuit boards.
also on the RH board, pull out and reinsert the memory chipsets, to make sure they have good contact..

My LG remote stopped working with my LG TV so I sent it back for a replacement. I just received the new remote and it doesn't work either. Can you help?

You have to set it up again with your TV. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to get gathered related posts.

Error E000

Since you listed error code E000, I assume you are talking about a Canon copier. The fuser assembly failed to heat up and the code needs to be reset in service mode. If the code cannot be reset , you need a new fuser or parts for the fuser unit. Always list the Brand and model to receive the most complete answer.

Closed captions works sometimes but not always

Unfamiliar & strange fault indeed. This might not happen. Just try with an other remote control. If the signal from the remote control is not proper, this type of fault can occur.
If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability? Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its user manual. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. If you see the site by "MOSAIC" view, will make surf easier.
