Hello. I have a Kenmore Elite side by side refrigerator, model# 106.50502990. It was manufactured in March of 2000. The ice make broke and I need a replacement. The ice maker part# I got is 4317943. However, this unit has a 4-pin flat connector and the original ice maker had a 6-pin flat connector and as a result I can't plug the replacement in. Could you tell me the correct ice maker part number that I should order?

The diagram shows a 6 pin connector going into the freezer which splits off at the unit. I could get the harness but my next question would be how do I wire it to the 4317943?

Hi again. The wire harness arrived on Friday and it wasn't even close to what I needed. What they sent me was a central wiring harness for the entire fridge. It's about 6 feet long and has 12 different plugs on it, none of which would fit the ice maker if I cut it all up to make a single harness. Looking at searspartsdirect.com it now says that the wire harness I need is no longer available. Oh, and that I can't return the one they sent me. So I’ve got that going for me, which is nice. In the end I still have a fridge in need of an ice maker. I won't be giving Sears any more of my business so do you or anyone know of an icemaker from another manufacturer that I can use as a substitute? Hi again.
