Hooking up the Wii to the cable modum, what all do I need for Netflix to work ? I hear I need a wireless router, do I need more than just a wireless router.

I recommend turning off the Wii completely. Check the wireless router and unplug the router, but do not disconnect the cable. Keep powered off for 5 minutes. Plug router back in, let all the lights power up and then turn the Wii on and attempt to connect again. Should the issue continue, you may need to go through the Wii network set up and verify that it is communicating with the router.

You don't need Wi-fi specifically, but you do need an internet connection. If you do not have a wireless router, you will need to purchase a Nintendo Wii LAN adapter. This allows you to connect the Wii to a wired router using an Ethernet cable.

Does your computer have a Wireless Adapter? This would allow you to pick up wireless transmissions from your wireless router.

If you don't have a Wireless Adapter, you'll need to buy one, or, you can connect your computer to the router with an Ethernet cable and then connect your Router to the socket in the wall.

Either way, as long as you have internet access on your computer, you will be able to hook up Netflix.

You need first to have a wireless router for your wii to receive a signal, once this is set up you need to call your cable provider for the ssid#. This will link your wii to the router so that you can access internet/ netflix. Another way to do this if you don't have a router is to connect your wii directly into you bradband modem using an ethernet cable. I hope this helps.

1. Attempt to relink your Wii to your router from the wireless menu in the Wii.
2. If (1) above does not work, you can reset your router to factory settings then attempt connection again. BEFORE doing this, hook your Wii up to the router with an Ethernet cable to make sure you have a connection and not a problem with your wii.

you need to have you r wii connected to the internet in order to get netflix. you can connect to your existing internet by wireless or by an adapter like this one

if you go wireless, you will need to use a wireless router.

1. Update the Firmware on your router.
2. When you lose internet, look on your modem and make sure that no lights have gone out. (i.e. Cable) If this one goes out, it is your provider.
