The inside bottom of our CMA dishmachine is pitting and has a hole through it. It is supposed to be stainless steel. The company said it was because we had too much iron in our water? We had the water tested by 2 sources and found that not to be the case. We had it for 6 months when this started to happen. Now CMA will not replace it because they say water problems are not covered. We don't have a water problem. Has anyone else run into a problem like this?

This is usually caused by a leak in the plastic chemical line on the sanitizer. Over time and it doesn't have to be long time for it to happen, the chlorine sanitizer drips on the stainless causing it to pit. Contact your chemical supplier to check this out; The sanitizer is corrosive to stainless when not mixed with water in the machine

SOURCE: Watch case

This is more of a manufacturing than a support problem. However, if you would like to have the watch resurfaced or restored a qualified jeweler should be able to acid wash and plate it for you. It depends on the value of the watch (monetary or sentimental) and how much you're willing to spend. I wouldn't expect plating to run much more than $150 but you'll want to make sure you're clear on the end result (shiny, brushed finish, tinted, etc.).

SOURCE: Rowenta Iron

TO CLEAN THE BOTTOM OF THE IRON, MY NAN USED TO ALWAYS IRON BROWN PAPER, IF THIS DOES NOT WORK, USE A RAG DIPPED IN THINNERS, OR LIGHTER PETROL AND RUB GENTLY.

NORMALLY THE SELF CLEAN SYSTEM IS JUST A BUTTON NEAR OR ON THE TANK THAT YOU PRESS WHILE THE IRON IS ON AND HAS WATER IN, PRESSING THE BUTTON WILL FORCE WATER THROUGH THE STEAM JETS (SO KEEP IRON FACING DOWN) ALSO EMPTY THE IRON AFTER EVERY USE

CMA Dishmachine L-1X16 is very loud- is this normal? Can it be quieted down?

Yes they do tend to be loud. It is the high pressure water against the thin side panels. You can quieten it down with self adhesive sound deadening foam on the side walls to stop the drumming. If it is a high pitched squealing noise, it is a dry bearing and needs a warranty call.

How do i get the get the impeller off a cma pump commercial dishwash pump to put the seals in

I think its press fit, so put some flat steel behind both sides and try pulling. Be ready to replace the plastic bits cause the detergent is caustic.
Easier to quote your customer on new pump/motor assy.

CMA AH -when I turn on the dishwasher it has a low hum and then it tips the circuit breaker

Check to see if it is plugged into a GFI. If it is then either have an electrician hardwire it in or run extension cord to an outlet that is not. If that is not the issue then you most likely have problem with the motor.

I have CMA 180 UC dishwasher. It doesn't drain after cleaning cycle.

Its your Dependo drain. a 3 way drain pump. P#04113.00. Flap sticks all the time, & when idle for so long Hinge inside your 3way drain sticks Probably from temperature fluctuations and calcium hard water buildup. Takes about 30 minutes to change if you have easy access to the back.

Discolored copper hue inside

A copper discoloration is usually caused from iron in the water. One way to help would be to use a water softener with the green bag of salt. The green bag of salt helps with iron content.

GE GFSL6KEXLS Stainless Steel (2585 cu ft) Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator Problem: Freezer handle is all stainless steel is loose. How can I tighten it? I looks like I would have to go through...

look for a small hole on one side of the handle. There should be a set screw there you can tighten. (the handle attaches to a ball shaped peg under the handle, and does not attach from the inside of the door)
