Having trouble with pixels, we have a nikon coolpix 1, intrying to down load the picture to our new wed site , it asks to have no more than 600 pixels, con this be done on the camera, or is it to be done on the computer, thanks john

Your CCD sensor most likely has what is referred to as a "dead pixel" or "stuck pixel", which is a pixel in the sensor that is not functioning properly anymore. There is not much to do to get it fixed. If you have an image editing program such as photoshop, corel draw or gimp, it is very simple to clone or heal the pixel out.

Try a different/new brand of card or take the card to any camera store and ask them to try to load the card into one of their cameras for you, it's an easy way to test the card. Many cheeper cards don't always work with all cameras.

The closest you'll come with this camera (and the smallest available) is the "TV screen" mode, which produces pictures that are 640 by 480. The next larger size is "PC screen" which produces pictures that are 1024 by 768.

Not easily. Once the date stamp is on the picture, those pixels are the same as any other pixel. You can edit the photos using photo editing software, the same way you might replace one person's face with another's.

That is the only Nikon software that supports Vista since your camera is "outdated".

hi Ruthie, dont get tense,there are so many data recovery software available on net, just download it and recover your sister's wedding photo. but i think you did not format your memory card regularly,that's why it happened. so dont forget to format regularly after recover your photos. good luck...
