You simply need to perform the auto-setup when you first use the television. The freeview HD channels will tune in at the same time as the standard def. (SD) channels. You will find them in your channel list but there are only 3 freeview HD channels currently available - BBC HD (Channel 50), ITV1 HD (Channel 51) and Channel 4 HD (Channel 52).
If these channels are missing, it's may be because the HD broadcasts haven't started in your area yet. Please visit this page and enter your postcode to find out if you can get these channels:

i'd just got a panasonic viera 32" lcd tv. the cable channels are not working same as the local tv channels. ther is only blurred picture and does'nt have any sound. please help me set up my cable channels
