Put the camera in clipboard mode...the rec/play switch to play. Now the clipboard menu is accessible and gives you the option to copy the clipboard to a memory card.

Panasonic DMC-ZS5 How to download pictures? Equipment needed ?

If you want to use a computer to read the internal memory or the SD card in the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS5, you will need the correct USB cable, which is an 8-pin micro USB (M) to USB A cable, . (One example: ) Then ensure that the camera is fully charged or is getting additional power (AC adapter or DC coupler). After connecting the camera to the computer, you should be able to transfer files from File Explorer (Windows) or the Desktop (Mac). This may depend on your OS, see page 140 of the Advanced Features Manual for the supported OS versions. (Check Windows compatibility for later Windows version compatibility.)

With Windows XP, Vista or 7, you can also use the PhotoFunStudio that came on the CD with the camera. There is an update to the software here: . See the manual for using the PhotoFunStudio software.

Does a chip on the screen of aTZ8 cause a fault on the photo

When you have a scratch on the display, your picture won't suffer. But if the sensor has a scratch all pictures will show that.
Just check a picture on a computer, and not on the back of the camera and you see what is wrong or not.

Regarding the Panasonic DMC-ZS5 camera: what is the default focal length set at when the camera is turned on?

The default is the widest setting for the lens. So, for example, if the lens was a 4.1mm to 49.2mm, it would open at the 4.1mm setting and you could zoom in from there.

First, it sounds like your mode dial is set to "clipboard". While it is, with no card in the camera, press the delete button to erase the clipboard memory. Then, set the mode dial to normal picture mode. Still, with no card in the camera, press the delete button again to erase anything from the internal memory of the camera. Then, insert the card and it should work properly.

Can't get images in clipboard off camera

In the "playback" menu, go to "copy" and select a direction (from internal memory to memory card) and click "yes" when it asks you if that's what you want to do. Once they're on your memory card you can transfer them to your computer using your camera and a USB cord or a separate card reader.
