Hello Gary, sadly lots get the LCD screen go wobbly on the camera types you have, Sony did do a recall on the problem, did you register yours? if so you could have mislaid it.
I had to send my Sony for repair as it went same as you camera has.

cheak ur lcd srip and there is a samll switch that chaing over switch cheak it

problem seems to be in most cases a flexible 'cable' between the recorder and the LCD screen...

LCD view screen consist of 2 pieces of cabinet and LCD screen including circuit board inside.
Do you need LCD cabinet only or require LCD screen too?

the video playback is sampled off the video out and independently processed sorta like a TV signal to project on the lcd screen.
horizontal lines means you lost sync circuit and needs troubleshooting. Hopefully maybe a bad connection with a ribbon cable for the ICs and components are hard to change and jammed tight. I would order a video board.

Hello, In this case the problem is in CCD unit. Please claim for Sony recall on CCD-s. Sony will repair the camcorder FOC. If you need more info please advice.
