Block both incoming and outgoing cal to a particular mobile number.

There are 2 ways to block numbers:
1. Go to Menu. Settings. Call. Call services. Call barring settings.
There you can block outgoing or incoming call groups using your provider's network settings.

2. Press menu, and then tap All friends.
In the Friends list, press and hold the friend's name you want to block.
Tap Block friend. Your friend is removed from your friends list and is added to the blocked friends list.

you have option for blocking particular number! just call to your network service provider and ask for black list and white list. if you start this service you can block any number.

There is no security code(builded in the phone) to block outgoing calls. But exist a international codes....*33*xxxx# (and call) to activate the "block" and #33*xxxx#(and call) to deactivate restriction. the "xxxx" is a network code....is 0000 if you not changed meantime. By the way, *35*xxxx# block incoming calls and #35*xxxx# unblock incoming calls. Search on google for those codes. Good luck!

you can add that number into a group, and add that group in the call reject from the common setting of the call setting.

Anyways, i need to block the incoming sms. Anybody got any solution or any software that i can download?

With this model of phone you cannot block calls from a particular number but you can restrict incoming calls that are not listed your address book. So effectively you can block a caller but you will be blocking all callers that are not in your address book. Having said that, there are other phone models in the market that can block a particular caller by listing the number in a black list.

Correct, the closest thing on the Razr is the call barring and it only allows you to block calls by limiting them to ppl in your phonebook. The more advanced stuff you want to do would require switching to a PDA like the G1

go to setttings then call barring then incoming calls then activate, this should block all incomming calls.

Unfortunately, Sprint does not have the ability to block single numbers from calling you. We can either block all incoming calls, all outgoing calls, or both, but not particular numbers.
