Very often, it seems my PC is downloading drivers to my PC. This time it says it can't do it and to contact you. In Control Panel it shows PC is ready. In notification area it shows it offline. I am so sick of this - it happens way too frequently. It's a real inconvenience. I can't print from gmail, or anything else online, except coupons. I have had to reinsert the CD to get new drivers very often. I need to know how to deal with this.

Some times the front usb port arnot work. try to connect the /replace the usb cable to the usb port mounted on motherboard(back side panel of pc), It also may happen the usb port may disabled due to virus. Also you can unistall the driver during power OFF of the printer after uninstall successful power ON the printer, it will show NEW HARDWARE FOUND at the right right bottom of the pc screen ,If you OS is win 7 and connected to internet the driver automatically installed, otherwise you can load the driver cd and install the driver.

Also it can be checked at control panel-add hardware.

Try downloading the Touchpad drivers, then you will have that option.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Dell Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Touchpad drivers.

You can disable the touchpad once you have the touchpad driver installed. Most times when it installs the touchpad will be at the bottom right near the time. you should also be able to get to it in the Control Panel.

Verify that the wireless switch is turned on.

Open the System control panel, click on the Hardware tab, then click on Device Manager. Look for network interface devices, especially any that have yellow warning icons marked on them. To find out what they are, right-click on them and click "Properties". This will also tell you whether the drivers are functional.

Download the latest definitions for your anti-virus program on another computer and use a USB drive to transfer it to the problem unit. At least one morally moronic person has written a virus that disables the network devices so you can't download anti-virus updates.

Seems like your printer drivers are out-dated. You need to uninstall them and reinstall the latest one.

pulled the touch pad, go after the middle third with a very small screw driver, cleaned the flex circut with contact cleaner

powered up fine seems to be working again

Step1

First check it physically by observing its proper connection to PC,

Check weather it is showing in device manager tab , or in control panel

Step3

If it is showing on device manger tab or control panel icon but still not working , then may be cam driver is corrupted,

The best will be to start by downloading and installing the chipset drivers for your notebook, which can be downloaded from:
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/13799/eng/ChipUtil.exe

Make sure to restart your machine after installing the chipset.

Secondly download the Audio driver(s) from:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36001-36500/sp36090.exe

Install the driver and follow instructions.

The issue seems to be with the video card drivers here...

Go to www.hp.com/suport and download the latest video card and the chipset drivers

before you download ...uninstall the nvidia chipset or any display software from program and features.

after you have installed the software.. go to the nvidia control panel > setup multiple monitors. and browse throughout the options >
It should be dual display and not extended display.

Also try with a new user profile...
