Not real familiar with your particular shredder but most shredders have plastic gears that will break teeth so that you do not destroy the motor when a jam happens. My guess is that is what happened to yours. You can usually contact the manufacturer or a dealer to see if new gears are available. You will need your model and maybe your serial number when you call.
If you main gear drive is broken you probably had a paper jam, so your shredder blade gear will break soon. By the time you purchase the part and pay for the shipping it would cost just about the same as gettin a new one. Then you will not have to wotty about anything esle breaking after you get this part because of the stress you put on the motor and other gears. I hope this helps you.
