Hello I have a WHIRLPOOL LSQ8543JQ0 Ultimate Care II that takes for ever to fill up with water. I have removed the water hose Iand I have good presure coming into the washer. I also looked inside the hose conector on the washer to see if it was pluged up with something but it was clean. What else can I do to get better pressure?

Check screens on both hoses and on water valve. Clean as needed. Obviously you need to be sure you have water coming from house source.

SOURCE: Whirlpool Ultimate Care II LSQ8543JQ0, the washer

This is usually caused by the lid switch. These are inexpensive and easy to replace. There are videos at www.appliancehelponline.com/servicemanual.html that will walk you thru testing and replacing this part. It may be a different model but the testing will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model. All parts come with installation instructions. Not all models are available.

SOURCE: How to separate auger from agitator. whirlpool ultimate care II

When you look down into the agitator, are there 4 white plastic points that look slightly melted or otherwise deformed? If so, using a small flat head screw and a small hammer, separate the white plastic from the surrounding translucent plastic. Once you've done that, it should easily pull apart.

My Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Washer doesn't stop filling with water

If this only happens when the machine is turned on,the tube from the tub to the water level switch is pinched or broken. If the clear plastic tube is not pinched or broken, the water level switch in the control console is bad. If the machine lets water through when it is in the OFF position, the water valve where the hoses connect are bad.

How do I manually drain the water from the basin of my old, heap of a Whirlpool Model LSQ8543JQ0? It's out of here in two weeks, but in the meantime, I have no lid switch left on it, and it's full...

Hello,

to manually drain it simply take the drain hose and hold it toa lower level athe the bottom of the tub(toward the bottom of the washer) and the water will drain right through the drain hose...depending on if ya have a floor drain to drop the drain hose into ya may need to raise and lower the drain hose several times intoa bucket...if ya have a floor drain put the drain hose in it and it will drain completly through that drain in the floor.

Wont stop filling with water

You need to replace the fill switch its not sensing or stopping the w ater. It is fairly simple. Remove the plastic molding on the ends. Remove two screws holding down the control panel. The fill switch is over to the left, and has a clear tube attached to it. Remove tube and wires, lift tab keeping it from turning, turn 45 degrees and remove switch. Replace and test in all positions. Good luck whirlpool is a good brand.

Whirlpool ultimate care II stops after filling

Hi, could be faulty timer, faulty water level switch, faulty start capacitor for motor, or faulty motor. always put clothes in machine before starting. you can empty machine by lowering drain hose to flow level.

Whirlpool Ultimate Care II keeps taking water.

ck your drain nose/drainline, chances are you have along hose, perhaps even draining along the floor behind hte unit, into a "closed" drain system. in which cawee the wwater is syphoning out during the rinse cycle, youlll needt o raise the drain hose to above 48" and have it drain into a stand pipe to prevent siphoning effect

Yes if its filling slow do to a blockage in a screened hose it will .If it never stops filling and doesnt over flow than its syphoning the water and you need to elevate thr drain hose higher than the water level and it will kick into wash. Please rate This !!
