Problem with the memory card

Hi: i have a olympus c-50 zoom 5.0 megapixel and i buy 1 GB memory card and the camara show in the screen card error. please some help.
and what card is the best , because I need more room.

It is free only if the card is from Olympus. If it is from another manufacturer, the cost is 39.95.

Go to the Olympus site to "downloads" for the C-50 for instructions and they will upgrade the Camera free and pay the return shipping,you need the product code and sales reciept for the card packed with the camera it takes about 10 days.

transfer pics to your computer and back them up then you can erase your card and still have your images

Look at your memory card. SD and SDHC cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

WHAT IS THE CAPACITY OF EXTENDED MEMORY OF DIGITAL CAMERA IXUS 95IS

There is no card limit mentioned but as far as I know it support 32GB SD card. But in case of video capacity it supported only 4gb in a single clip.

C-50 Olympus Zoom Digital Camera; where can I buy memory cards?

I have bought memory cards for my camera and they all read "card error." I have an olympus 5.0 digital C-50 zoom camera. I have been told that I need to get a 256MB memory card. I have found these on-line, however, I need to know what does 1GDxD or 2GDxD mean? Is there anything other than the 256 MB that I need to know in order to purchase a card? Thanks

The largest memory card that camera can support is a 128mb smartmedia card. They do not make any cards larger than that size.

stopped by a camera store to inquire and found out that my digital camera is too old to accept a memory card > 1 GB.It was free advise. Minimum 10$ charge is too expensive for your services. Thannx
