Hi, Based on your post/description, it appears to be a hardware issue. Check that you have a 300watt PSU (or higher) preferably with 24 pins (ATX v2.x). Perhaps you can try to do an R&R, remove and reinstall everything especially the power connector, memory and video card (if add-on). It may also be worth your while to reset the BIOS/CMOS to default and try again. If problem persist, then perhaps it will be to your advantage to have the motherboard replaced. Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turn up or should you need further information. Good luck and kind regards.

I have the 6100 sm-m and was having same problem .. I went to ecs website and flashed to old bios then downloaded new bios ... when updating make sure you check the bootblock , dmi, and hole .. I also checked the update all ... seems to have fixed the loading of vista and has not shut off

Open to page 12 and zoom in with Adobe if needed. See pages 4 and 5 for location of, PANEL1.
Wire colors do vary from case to case. Colored wires are more often positive where white is common for negative. As you look at you're case wires you will find one color in common with most of the jumpers. This common color will be positive.
The internal speaker wire colors are red for positive and black for negative.
