Blank Screen My screen went out, it's not the screen that's damaged but i'm pretty sure the wiring is loose because i threw it to keep it from getting wet when i was being thrown into a pool ... it worked for the day and then that night the screen went blank and wouldn't come back... no external damage to the screen or phone is very prevalent. I read your post which seemed very helpful on this topic, however, i do not know how to go about opening the top of the phone where the screen is at and how to go about removing the cover, etc. could you describe this in more detail if possible because i am thoroughly confused and i know i can fix it, i just dont want to go pulling things off that i don't know how to put back (especially if i'm not sure that's what i should be taking off) if you could help, please email me a response to [email protected] as soon as possible. thanks! cass

With t6 screw driver u can open its lcd portion its very easy. just try it and press the jack which comes from keypad. i know u can do it. reply me

Partial Display Screen Damage
The screen will keep malfunctioning since it fell and its display is half top the screen. is the phone slide? if it is, it is the flex on the phone screen that will need to be change. but if it did not solve the problem, then,

I advice you get a brand new screen for replacement and when going to get the screen, please go with the phone so that you can get the exact screen and a working screen.

The screen keeps cutting out at certain angles when I open it up. It now doesn't work at 90 degrees as the screen goes white/grey when it is opened. I think this problem has been caused by heat damage as...
This problem could be down to a loose connection or a dry joint on one of the componants inside the monitor, around where the crack is, check all the cables if there are any or componants, get a magnifying class if it helps to spot a loose connection somewhere, iam pretty sure you will find something out of place. good luck post back your findings. cheers.

Both screens are blank
try pushing down on the screens. lightly but firm. i dropped mine once and i had to push my touch screen back in place. maybe a connector got knocked loose. if that doesnt work try getting a replacement screen and swap it out yourself. you can find the screen pretty cheap online as well as the screw driver you will need to do the work

Helio Ocean..blank screen
I managed to fix mine! It takes some doing and is probably not for the faint hearted. You have to disassemble the Ocean from the battery side, removing the qwerty keyboard, to gain access to the slider assembly.

Disassemble the slider (pay attention to the spring!) and clean all contacts and make sure all of the flex cables are seated completely. Mine was working OK the qwerty way, but was blank and/or garbled the long way. Now it works great!

Screen problems with 540
Sounds like the shock from being dropped may have caused some internal connections to the screen to become loose causing the stripes or blank screen. It is also possible something might have been damaged. It sounds more like a loose connection and not any damage, but I don't know for sure. My suggestion would be to get it looked at by a professional.
