Hi,
I am not clear whether your card is lost or lancard is not getting detected by computer

>>If it is lost then you can connect your computer by USB Cable by installing the drivers for the USB if the USB is not getting detected.

>>If your computer is not able to detect the Lan Card.

1)Check the computer in safe mode with networking by pressing the F8 or any Function key whether the card is showing in Device manager or not

>> Steps for Device manager:
Click start> Click run> Type devmgmt.msc> check under network adapters or in other devices

2) Check whether the Card is properly plugged in the Mother Board of the computer

3) If it is then check the Lan Card by plugging it into another slot

I lost my Surecom Lancard Driver

Hello there:
fthis is what you will need to do
Iif you do not have your cd rom and you have tried to use the device manager to uninstall and reinstall the device and this still doesn't work . you will need to go to the manufacture web site and look for your model and brand of the card. than look for the driver download and there should be a section that will let you download it if so click on it and it will ask you if you want to run or save it. save it to the desktop . than after this is all done just open the folder and it will bring you to a nother folder that you will have to open and in this folder will be the setup.exe file click on that and the installation wizzard will begin installation

Hi there.
Try this >>>>>>>>>> reset the modem by pulling the power from it for 30 seconds, then plug power in again, leave it for 2 minutes to reset and then try to reconnect.
Post back if you still have problems connecting and include details.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Boot by Lancard.

The D-Link DFE-530TX+ network card does not support booting from LAN (also called Ethernet boot or PXE boot) without the addition of an optional boot ROM chip. You'd need to purchase and install the optional ROM chip before you could use this card to boot your computer from the LAN.
