possibly the main drive belt has either snapped or jumped off the pulley and this allows you to turn easily by hand the whir/buzz sounds like system in coming into play but with no belt to drive nothing more happens, the front lower portion of the machine could be the water pump working overtime unable to drain ???
icemaker wont work in fridge. the buzzing sound might be the water solenoid operating and waiting for water level sensor to be happy. solenoid will make a loud harsh buzz check water supply to back of freezer and see if there is a lever on icemaker you can lift up to turn off.
Hello,
Does the water drain out at all if not then this is certainly a blockage in the drain pump and the dish washer will normally have to come out to get at drain pump the normal access to pump is through the base will have to tip unit on its back and remove base plate if it has one.Do check in bottom of internal filter for debris but it seems as if it has got into pump and stopping it turning.Hope this helps.I dont recognise the model number,is it correct.
Will it drain?
Drain most water, take it outside pour rest out.
Roll over, check underneath see if belt broken,, or plastic guide on the cycle bar has broke off.
It sounds as if there is something in the bottom part of the dishwasher arm (it sprays the water around the bottom of the dishwasher). I would suggest that you take out the baskets and then remove and clean all of the parts that water comes out of as well as the bottom drain. If this works or does not, I would also suggest that you run an empty load using 1/4 cup vinegar. Hope this helps!
a loud buzzing sound it is probably a faulty control/timer module.
If the appliance works the same, you can keep it like this, if it still under guaranty, call the number listed on the owner manual to get repair.
If you got the sound only recently, that means that the control is going to fail soon, in that case call a repairman and have the control assembly replaced. You find diagrams and parts here, just enter the model number.
this sounds like something has gone into the pump, coins or whatever, the objects need to be removed, also check the hoses, remove the plug to work on any appliance
the buzzing is the pump trying to work but unable to go round,
start there and see how you go
