Is a 2200uf 10v cap better then a 1000uf 25v in a samsung tv with clicking problems and wont turn on

The word is than, so the phrase is "better than"

2200uF is fine, but wasted where only 1000uF is needed.

10v where 25v is required is a big problem. For DIY repair jobs where you are just replacing parts, never under spec the voltage of a capacitor. You can go a little higher, but never, ever go less.

If you want to put in a better part, choose a decent make such as Panasonic, and go for a 105 deg C Low ESR component.

Powers on and off by itself. I took the PS board out and it looks like caps cm811 and cm817 are domed slightly.

Replaced them with the same value, but slightly high voltage rating. Ex.: 1000uf 10v -> 1000uf 16v... 2200uf 16v -> 2200uf 25v.

37mf23id magnavox takes 15 min to come on . its a magnavox which is made by philips

You need to replace the power board,Or replace the capactors on it.
Replacing the capactors is the best idea.They are under rated at 10volt insted of 16volt or higher. They cost less too. If you replace the board,you will still have the same problem again later. They are usualy 680uf 10v,1000uf 10v,2200uf 10v,and 3300uf 10v. Replace them with the same uf but 16v or 25v EXPANPLE use... 1000uf 16v or 1000uf 25v
They are polorised Blak spot on board is the - side of cap. Stripe on cap is -. The caps. swell if they are bad. The tops round out,or the X on top breaks anfand black or brown goo comes out. Top should be flat. It I can assist you further please feel free to ask. [email protected]

Hi, thank you for visit fix ya.
After insert DVD on your tv, cut off?, or all the time the tv don't work?.
If so, replace capacitors on power supply.
