You can download the WEBcam and device drivers from the Compaq/HP WEB support/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the Windows drivers you require and install them. Click on this link to download the drivers: - http://welcome.hp.com/country/au/en/cs/support.html
Boot with a Win 7 disc, and choose Repair Your Computer. Then use Startup Repair option.
If this does not work, use the Re-install Windows option. This should install on top and not wipe out.
A free legal Windows image can be downloaded. Check the MS Product Key sticker for what version your system came with. You may have to use your key. IT MUST BE THE SAME VERSION
You need to install the drivers for this printer. You need to use the correct installer for your Windows operating system or Version of Windows. Check the Canon website and download and install the driver for your operating system.
If you are running Windows XP then install the Windows XP drivers for this device on your computer.
If you are running Windows 7 Home Premium, then install the Windows 7 Home Premium drivers for this device, etc... Also be sure to get the right Bit, that being either 32Bit or 64Bit.
go to support/downloads search for your printers model then look for the printer,s
driver and software
then download it making sure that it is for 64bit divers
Possibly try using the Vista Driver, Windows 7 uses vista drivers for most of the products, also the E210 is not compatible with windows 7 64bit version.
download vista 64bit drivers (cp400x64mux.exe). Extract these using winzip or winrar or 7zip. Rightclick CNYCPINS.EXE, click Properties, click Compatibility tab, and select Vista SP2 mode. Connect printer, rightclick CNYCPINS.EXE and click 'run as administrator'. Printer is now installed, works fine on my Win7 Home Premium 64bit.
doesn't work. still same symptoms as stated earlier.
