This error message indicates that the current scene selection mode is not compatible for Macro shooting.
Please check the below figure to view the applicable scene selection modes for the Macro shooting mode.
The macro is not applicable in Landscape, Twilight and Fireworks mode.
You can use other scene selection modes with macro mode.
Thanks for understanding.
I hope the information helpful, if you want any clarification, please let me know.
You mean you can't turn the macro mode on? Most likely there are some settings set that won't let you turn macro on. Do an initialization (reset) from the SETUP menu.
Press the "Home" button, go to "Settings" (last menu item at right), then "Main Settings", and use the "Initialize" button.
And also; Macro is not available in landscape mode, twilight mode or fireworks
mode, if you try to use macro in any of those modes it will say invalid
macro.
I have a Sony W120 and had the same macro problem, tried all the "solutions" mentioned here without result. So I pressed the "Home" button, went to "Settings" (last menu item at right), then "Main Settings", and used the "Initialize" functio. Problem solved !

if the form "products" really exists, then your office 2007 security settings are not allowing to load macros. Try the following settings:-
Office 2007 has some security settings disabled by default to prevent any harm to your system.
go to trustcenter settings(click the office button at the top left of the office 2007 screen then click Access options, then select Trustcenter, then click trustcenter settings.)
In trustcenter settings, select message bar then select "Show the message bar in all applications when content is blocked" radio button.
Then from macro settings ,make sure to select "Disable all macros with notification" . Click ok twice to close the settings windows and try opening the file again.
hit your menu button. go down to setup. in the setup menu there is a tab for "Conversion Lens". make sure it is not set to "Close Up". i have mine set to off because i am not using any conversion lens.
