There are a series of capacitors that go bad in these tvs.
1. tv won't come on after changing lamp.
a. 2) 1000mf/10 volt capacitors on power supply board.
2. green power led constantly blinks
a. 4) 1000 mf/ 16 volt capacitors leaky. change to 680mf/16 volt on DM board.

Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV popped, bad picture and vibrates

The pop was a high voltage arc of electricity that blew some vital components on the main circuit board. The unit is of no use now. Repairs are far more than replacing the TV.

My Mitsubishi WD-52525 is only showing black and white rectangles on the screen. I hear sound, but there is no picture.

Check the white rectangular ceramic fuses on the FMT board. You blew one of them so there's power missing to some of the circuitry.

Mitsubishi WD-52525 picture problem

you didnt mention which two boards you replaced the caps on however each board in the chassis has the same capacitor issue. Sounds like you need either of the four V26 Repair kits. The FMT repair kit, The signal Repair kit, The Terminal 1 or the terminal 2 repair kit

Blinking green timer light on mitsubishi wd 52525

disconnect the connector for the front switch control board. Try turning it on with the remote. If it works replace that board, also look for bad caps on the small signal board. they're 1000Mf 16v
