Good day there, glad to be of assistance to you today.
What kind of mouse is it? Is it a bluetooth mouse with batteries?
1.Is it a regular usb mouse with lights on it?
If so, please check if you've got lights on the mouse,it means it's being detected by the notebook.
2.Please shut down your computer first, as soon as the the computer turns off, unplug and
plug the mouse back in then power it back on.
3.If that doesn't work, try plugging it to a different usb port and restart the notebook.
If it's the same issue, please check if the mouse will work on another notebook when plugged in.
I hope this has helped you resolve your concern.
Have a wonderful day.
Had same problem here is solution Open battery cover on mouse, remove the usb dongle (optical mouse drive) put usb mouse dongle in usb port on computer it sets itself up, looks like a standard logitec mouse setup, works just fine
try to plug it into another USB port, then let the system read the device for a while (around 10 mins). if still not working, you can test your new VX mouse into different laptop just to make sure it is not defective,.
check it your bluetooth device connecter your loptop and go to the control panel --> add hardware wizard click next it will show the all hardware drivers in your loptop select your wireless mouse than click it.
it will work good.. and one power button is there please press the button it will show one blink ofter you will check it..
I found no solution but plenty of similar complaints on the V270 on other than just Vista machines. I will suggest finding another model mouse and check it for Vista compatibility before buying. I am using a Logitech M-RBB_DEL4 mouse made for Dell, it's bluetooth and works flawlessly on my XP machine along with the keyboard it came with. I will try the one I just ordered on my Vista machine when the BT Keyboard and Mouse arrive.
First download and run regscrub xp and ccleaner to clean up your system then try uninstalling and reinstalling the logitech setpoint software and try the keyboard and mouse again. Let me know if this works.
essense702,
I presume the batteries were in correctly.
did you connect them when the computer was off, and let windows find them on bootup.
Also, make sure that you follow directions on how to get them to connect. And, make sure you run the cd that came with it.
